Let me tell you how things really work in this practice ...

I had gone to this practice for 15+ years and never experienced any problems. However, now that Ah Dentistry has purchased the practice the experience has been subpar. I went in for my usual cleaning and was told I needed a root canal on my #4 tooth that had been bothering me. I scheduled my procedure appointment based on my availability with my work schedule which meant I would end up getting a dentist I wasn't familiar with on that day. When the day came I arrived on time at 8:00am. The doctor did not arrive until 8:30am. I know this because as I was laying in the chair waiting I heard him enter as he was greeted by the staff. When he came into the exam room, he got an update from the dental assistant and then began to look into my mouth and start beginning the numbing shots. Keep in mind I have never met this man and he began the procedure without any introduction. It was at this time I asked him if he knew what tooth I was in for today and he replied condescendingly "This isn't my first time , sweetie." My response was "I am sure it's not but it is your first time with me. So, I would like to make sure we are on the same page." He more or less brushed me off and continued with the procedure. When I was finished I left and went to my car and looked in the mirror and noticed a HUGE gash in my healthy tooth that was next to the root canal temp crown. When I went back inside both the doctor and the dental assistant looked me in the face and said I came in like that. I had to behave ugly to get him to agree to smooth it out with a drill. Then, while he was doing that he made up a story about how it was actually cement from placing the crown. However, I saw it in the mirror with my own two eyes and touched it and know that it was gashed. I prefer to be treated with respect and some appreciation for my patronage. So, this is not an establishment I will ever return to. However, if you enjoy being spoken to like you're an idiot then by all means book your dental work here!

Might I also add that the root canal failed 6 months later and I went to three specialist seeking help and all three of them confirmed that they were unsure of what he had done and that it did not look normal. I now am in the process of getting an implant put in that will cost me $4500. In addition to the root canal that cost me $1300. When the office was notified about this they offered to call me back and let me know what could be done to help. I never heard from them again.
