Dollar Rent A Car at 3127 West Mockingbird Lane, Dallas, Texas.

I went in and explained that my car was in the shop and it could take up to a week for the repairs to be done but as soon as a few days. The guy at the counter said the day rate would be rest. Being that I had just dropped my car off and went directly to the car rental place I didn’t really research (my bad). He told me that if i needed to extend my contact just to call back and it would be no problem just a small fee and the daily cost of the car; I was thinking no big deal. Well today I was informed that my car will not be ready until Friday I took it a pone myself to check out the weekly rate, little to my surprise it was cheaper than what I was already paying. I called into see if I could redo my contact explaining what I was told the night that I picked up my car and they said me sure come in and sign a new contract no big deal, but the catch is that they will NOT start it from the date that I picked up the car. I would have to pay the current contact out in full 233+ and start a new one with the weekly rate of 214 for a total of over 400. If I just kept my current contact and paid the extra daily free it would work out to the same price, now is that working out for me??? The customer service staff is not friendly is the way they talk to their customers, I was told we are here to make money not give it away. I informed them they are there for the customer and if they keep up their current customer service method they would not be around for long. All in all make sure if you think you will need a car for more than two days make sure and check out the weekly rate before you agree to the daily rate. They are all about the money and not the customer. Not expecting anything free but when I tell you what I am looking for don’t lie and tell me it is the best price you can give me when they know they have better rates.
